Through our certificates and policy documents, we show that we have control over the business and that it is documented correctly. Our microbiological laboratory is accredited by Swedac.
To meet the expectations of our customers we are highly certified, have ambitious environmental, sustainability and energy goals. We keep a close eye on legislation and regulations applicable to quality, sustainability and safety along the supply chain.
We are members of the Sustainable Spices Initiative (SSI) and ESA (European Spice Association) who collaborate for a sustainable transformation of the spice sector.

Environment and energy
Pursuing an environmentally conscious and sustainable business is central to Culinar.
Our targets to reduce the impact on the environment are followed, evaluated and revised on a regular base.
Our environmental management system is based on ISO 14001.
Our energy management system is based on ISO 50001.
Since 2013, we use only fossil-free energy at our production facility. From January 2019 all electricity used is produced from renewable energy sources.
Audits
Our employees regularly visit our suppliers to conduct audits based on yearly evaluation of their performance. The focus during audits are both food safety and social conditions.
